Every trade show has that one booth still taping paper to a bare table at 7:58 a.m. Don't be that booth. Here's everything to order for a standard 10×10, in priority order, with the sizes that work and the dates to order by.
The 10×10 booth kit, in priority order
1. The backwall (order first)
An 8-foot tension fabric display is the modern standard — packs into a duffel, sets up in ten minutes solo, zero glare in photos. Design rule: your name and what-you-do line in the top third (tables and people block the bottom half all day).
2. Feather flags (the beacons)
Two flags flanking the booth — or one if the show is strict — visible down the whole aisle. This is how people find you from row F. Get the cross-base with water bag; venues hate stake bases.
3. Fitted table throw
The $150 upgrade that makes a rented folding table look like furniture you own. Fitted beats draped — clean corners photograph better and nobody trips.
4. Counter / literature stand graphics
Wherever badges get scanned and brochures live — brand it. Small surface, huge dwell time.
5. Handouts & stickers
The giveaway that survives the hotel-room purge is a die-cut sticker. Order 500+; they weigh nothing and outlive every brochure.
The timeline that avoids rush fees
- 4–6 weeks out — order backwall and anything fabric (dye-sub takes longer than vinyl).
- 3 weeks out — flags, table throw, counter graphics.
- 2 weeks out — stickers, handouts, name badges.
- 1 week out — full booth dry-run in your warehouse or driveway. Every veteran does this; every rookie learns why.
Tighter than that? Tell us the date anyway — deadline production is our event specialty. Just expect fewer material options, not miracles… usually.
Design rules for a 10-foot glance
- One message — attendees give each booth 3 seconds from 10 feet. One line, big.
- Letter height ≥ 2" for anything meant to be read in passing.
- Faces beat product shots — human imagery stops walkers; spec sheets don't.
- Leave whitespace — cramming your full catalog on a backwall guarantees none of it gets read.
All of it fits in a sedan and sets up in under 30 minutes when done right. Start with the fabric kit, add event signage if you're sponsoring beyond the booth, and get the whole package quoted at once — kits price better than pieces.
