A good sign works every hour you're open and most of the hours you're not. It's the handshake before the handshake. GraphicsWest produces signage at every scale — from a grand-opening banner that goes up Friday to a dimensional storefront sign that anchors your building for a decade.
What we make
- Vinyl banners — hemmed and grommeted, any size, indoor or out. The fastest, cheapest square footage in advertising.
- Mesh banners — wind passes through; perfect for fences, scaffolding, and gusty sites.
- Rigid signs — aluminum composite, PVC, corrugated plastic — for storefronts, job sites, and wayfinding.
- Yard signs & A-frames — the street-level workhorses for realtors, contractors, and campaigns.
- Pole & boulevard banners — streetscape branding that turns a district into a destination.
- Dimensional lettering — cut letters and logos with real depth for buildings and lobbies.
The cost of a banner is measured in dollars. The cost of being invisible is measured in customers.
Materials matched to the mission
A banner that hangs indoors for a weekend and a sign that faces the Phoenix sun for five years are different animals. We spec the material to the job — 13oz vinyl for events, 18oz blockout for long-term outdoor, UV-stable inks and laminates everywhere the sun bites. If you're in the high desert or on the coast, read our guide to materials that survive Western conditions.
Sizes that actually get read
The classic mistake is ordering a banner too small for its viewing distance. Rule of thumb: you need roughly 1 inch of letter height per 10 feet of distance. A banner read from across a parking lot needs 8–12" letters minimum. Our banner size guide breaks down the standard sizes and when to use each — or skip the math and design it in the Studio where sizes are shown in real inches.
